July was a very busy month. Alex got two more teeth, bringing the total up to six. Alex has really started to enjoy reading books and loves to point at the pictures and turn the pages while sitting on one of our laps. He is a very affectionate little boy who loves to cuddle and give hugs.
Aidan is turning into quite the big boy. His vocabulary continues to expand and he loves to ask questions and make up songs. He is becoming more and more independent and can entertain himself for a long time when he wants to. Aidan loves playing outside and picking raspberries from the bush in our yard.
At the end of the month we drove to Denver, then flew to Seattle and back to Denver, and then drove home. Both boys did remarkably well with all the traveling. We were able to spend time with lots of Nickie's extended family and enjoyed seeing the boys explore new places.
