A Summer's Worth of Pictures

Yes, we're still here! It's been a very busy summer and now that school has officially started, I thought it was high time to get some pictures out here for your enjoyment.

Amazingly, Zachary is already four months old. That hardly seems possible. He is quite the happy little guy and he brings us so much joy with his constant smiles, coos, and squeals. He rolled over both ways very early (front to back at 2 months, back to front at 3 months) and even scoots himself around a little. We are loving getting to know this little guy and his unique personality. He is definitely a cuddler, which suits us just fine. He is a great sleeper and is usually content to just watch his older brothers, who both adore him.

Our former baby, Alex, has definitely grown up this summer. He turned 2 at the beginning of June and it is so fun to be able to communicate more and more with him. He is one smart cookie! Alex has developed a love of dinosaurs and can name many of them correctly, which is just amazing to us. He still loves to do puzzles, line things up, and play with his stuffed animals. We're not sure where Alex learned half the things he knows, but we are very proud of him. The newest adventure with Alex has been potty training, and he is doing quite well with it. Here's hoping that continues.

Aidan is almost 4 years old. He kept busy this summer with swimming lessons, a sports camp, and a preschool camp. Aidan learned how to ride his bike by himself (with training wheels) and swim by himself (with a life jacket). He still loves to sing, dance, and ask questions. Aidan is excited to start preschool this week. It's amazing to us that he's that old already!

We moved into our new house in July and have been very busy painting and doing projects in and outside of the house. It was very nice to unpack and have our things back. We are definitely enjoying having more space! Look for some house pictures soon!

We enjoyed lots of time with extended family this summer as well. Grandma Annell and Grandpa Matt visited in June, we spent a weekend with the Lenius Family in Two Harbors in August, and Granddad Nick, Libby, Aunt Elizabeth, and cousin Fiona visited in August. All three boys enjoyed time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!
