Both Alex and Aidan continue to grow before our eyes! Alex is quite the walker and it has been fun watching him learn this skill so quickly. He is very steady on his feet but usually holds his arms up as he walks. We're not sure if this helps him balance, or if he's just used to it from when we would hold his hands to help him walk. Either way, it is very cute! Another accomplishment for Alex this month was figuring out how to crawl down the stairs. He is definitely on the move and it's sometimes hard to keep up with him! One of Alex's new favorite things to do is "cook," and he usually has a toy cooking utensil in his hands. He is getting more vocal by the day, and it is fun to listen to him babble away while he is playing.

Aidan continues to impress us with his vocabulary. We're not always sure where he comes up with some of the things he says, but he constantly makes us laugh with words and phrases we aren't expecting to hear. Aidan has also started pretend play, and is a lot of fun to watch and listen to. As the weather has gotten nicer, Aidan has enjoyed spending more and more time outside jumping rope, riding his bike, and watering the plants in the yard.

A big change this month is that Alex and Aidan now play together. Before, they would be happy to play next to each other, even with the same toys, but not really interact. We love watching this new bond as it develops!
